Big Sister - Lil' Sister Week begins
Monday kicks off our initiation of new Anchor members. It starts out fairly simple and gets silly as the week moves on. The new members were girls who earned an 85 average or higher in all of her classes last year at the end of the year. The girls will be wearing large green anchors all week and doing or saying odd things, so if you see one of them be sure to ask what is going on!!! New members and Big Sisters enjoy the week and be ready for lots of service through out the year!
International Convention
The 2007 International Convention is in Norfolk, VA on July 11-14. Any Anchor that wants to go needs to see Mrs. Garner for details.
October 12, 2006 Meeting
Our next Anchor meeting will be Oct 12th at 6:00. Our theme for the year is "Beautiful Gems --
Be Encouraging...Anchors Unique Technique In Fulfilling Useful Lives!"
Those that can come early and help set-up please do so. This will be our installation of officers and initiation of new members. Don't forget your food & gifts. Also bring a teddy bear to the meeting to take to the emergency room.
